The Parent Company

EMSA Distribution (Pty) Ltd

Founded in 2017 by Jonathan Lieman, EMSA Distribution services Southern Africa's hair and beauty market and has grown into the largest supplier in Southern Africa of professional hair and beauty supplies. The company operates from multiple locations, offering tailored solutions through dedicated consultants at showrooms in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Lime Light (JHB)

Operating as EMSA Distribution's flagship brand, Lime Light serves professional hair and beauty salons. We emphasise quality products and personalised service, work with training institutes nationwide, and offer door-to-door delivery solutions.

Hands Down (CPT)

Established in 1999, Hands Down operates as a wholesaler to the hair and beauty industries. Following its 2019 integration into EMSA, the brand expanded its offering to include beauty products, salon furniture and salon equipment, and now serves customers across the country.

Beautiquip (DBN)

Founded in 1985, Beautiquip distributes internationally recognised products to skin care clinics, spas and nail studios. Now part of the EMSA family, Beautiquip serves the discerning needs of professionals.
